Was Pattinson aware of the loyalty of fans of the Twilight books? It looks like the sort of obsessive fandom that can turn into anger and even hatred when an adaptation isn’t to their liking. Did he know what he was letting himself in for? “It’s strange because even though the figures show that the books were successful and sold millions of copies, you couldn’t even buy them in London. I tried a couple of bookshops and they weren’t available. Hardly anyone I knew had read them apart from one girl, a friend of my sister. I had no idea at all. I’d seen Kristen Stewart in Into the Wild and some of the director Catherine Hardwicke’s other films, and that’s all I thought it was, something really small.”

His manner is very laid back. He doesn’t sound thrusting or ambitious, more like he’s just going with the flow and enjoying things. Is he going to harness his newfound fame and box-office appeal to approach the kind of filmmakers he wants to work with in the future? He’s not so sure. “Annoyingly, there are so few parts I feel I can add anything to, or that I want to do.” But he knows what he doesn’t need. “I don’t want to be an actor for the sake of it. I don’t find any particular pleasure in being an attention-seeker.”

Rob Pattinson Out in Vancouver Last Night 9/26/09
Rob was spotted out last night in Vancouver returning back to his hotel after meeting up with the some of the cast of "Eclipse" at a night club. The cast had gotten together for a cast dinner to help David Slade celebrate his birthday. Rob and Kristen did not attend the dinner but did meet up with them afterwards. @cybermelli from Twitter, who is visiting VC right now from NYC, was pulling up to the hotel with a friend when Rob & Kristen jumped into the cab they had just gotten out of. How awesome is that? I would be trilled to have that happen to me. Random sightings are the best! @cybermelli had visited the "Remember Me" set and shared her pictures and video of Rob from this past summer. So glad she got an up close and personal moment with Rob. Those are golden!
Rob appears to have cigarettes ashes on his pant leg and I love how his shirt is misbuttoned, he does that alot and I love him madly for it! Always in a hurry to get dressed that one!

Pictures of Rob on Set of "Eclipse" 9/23/09
Pictures of Rob on the set of "Eclipse" yesterday. They were filming a scene were Bella and Edward go see Charlie at the police station. Rob is driving the black Volvo that replaced the silver Volvo from "Twilight", it was replaced in "New Moon". The change in vehicles was not noticed until recently. I know people have been up in arms about the silver car being replaced by the black one, but honestly I could give two shits about the damn car, all I see is Rob driving it. Enjoy!
Thank you baby Jesus! All I wanted was a picture of Rob standing next to the Director David Slade...I got my wish! He comes up to Rob's belly...LMFAO...it's the small things in life that make me enjoy it! The poor guy is seriously little...love it!
